Homepage

On the homepage of our website we have links to a page where we allow registered Grade Machine users to send us a message requesting free technical support. All we collect is full name, email address, serial number, and computer platform. For site licenses we also ask for school name. We ask this information so that we can verify that the person requesting free technical support is eligible to receive it. Once the answer has been emailed back to the requester, the original message, including name and email address, is archived by the support technician so that he/she can refer back to it if necessary to improve technical support service provided.

For example, the technician may go back to the archives to search for an old bug report or feature request, and contact the person again for more information. Occasionally we send a message to the names in our archives, encouraging them to subscribe to the Misty City Online News where they can receive news about updates that may improve the use of our products. We do not disclose any information we collect to any third parties.

Also on the homepage of our website are two links to a page where interested parties can voluntarily subscribe to our free online newsletter, Misty City Online News. All we collect is the person's first name, last name, email address, city, state, country, computer platform, and serial number. This information is collected so that we can maintain an unduplicated list of people wishing to receive the newsletter.

The geographic area and platform information is also used to target specific newsletter information to specific geographic areas or platforms, as appropriate. We do not disclose any information we collect to any third parties.

www.mistycity.com does not currently use "cookie" technology on the web site.

We do gather usage statistics to determine usage of our website. None of this information is personally identifiable and none can be tied back to any individual user.
