Grade Machine® Features

	New Alternate Grades allow you to override any percentage or grade description calculated by Grade Machine.
	Lock the Student ID and Misc. columns in the Student window to avoid accidentally deleting or changing student information.
	Contextual menus make it easier than ever to assign comments, give special scores, and enter attendance codes.
	Customize up to 50 attendance/behavior codes.
	Works with Optical Mark Readers (Scantron, etc.)
	Define up to 20 grading periods, each containing multiple categories. Weigh grading periods and categories, or calculate grades using total points.
	Create up to 10 overall summaries (e.g. semester or full-year), each based on any continuous range of grading periods, even in those ranges that overlap.
	Design as many as 30 grading scales containing letter grades, narrative grade descriptions, or numeric grade-point values.
	Generate HTML pages to post progress reports to the web.
	Save an automatic backup copy of your Grade Machine files to any location you select, including local PC, floppy disk, or over a school network.
	Specify particular default paths for opening your Class and Style files.
	Native support for PowerPC.
	Create an unlimited number of Class Files which are cross-platform compatible (Macintosh and Windows).
	Use the Multi-Class Report feature to combine multiple files tracking a variety of subjects into a single unified progress report. This is especially useful for Elementary teachers.
	Use Smart Data Exchange to transfer student, assignment and class information to and from other applications, hardware, and school administration software.

	Create multiple seating charts for each class. Assign students to desks manually, alphabetically, or randomly.
